Enjoy the excitement and knowledge of The Cooking School from the comfort of your home! You can choose to relax and watch the demonstration, or roll up your sleeves and join the fun. You can even purchase the class, plus a pre-portioned ingredients kit, to make everything easy! Both options will include recipes for the class, the opportunity to follow live video instruction, and ask Leigh questions throughout the course. For you to have the freshest Cooking School experience, we will be packaging the ingredients kits for you to pick up the day before your class. The ingredients kit for this class will ONLY be available for pick-up in The Cooking School, at Jungle Jim's Fairfield, on Wednesday, March 10, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. (If you are unavailable during these hours, we suggest purchasing the Demonstration class instead.)The only items you'll need to provide are the required utensils and equipment listed in the next tab!

Class Description:
- Pour a glass of wine and get ready to cook a dinner that will rival your favorite restaurant. You can’t go wrong with tender steaks and mashed potatoes. End the meal with sweet satisfaction. Dinner done right!
- Pan-Seared Filet Mignon with Mushrooms and Red Wine Sauce

Class Options:
- Demonstration without Ingredients Kit | $35 — Sit back, relax, and watch a master at work. This option is perfect for those who would like to learn how to make a gourmet meal without getting their hands dirty! Or, you can buy your ingredients and follow along with Leigh! You will receive the recipes after you purchase the class.
- Hands-On with Ingredients Kit (serves 2) | $100 — Roll up your sleeves and cook along with Leigh using the ingredients provided to you by The Cooking School! We'll do all the shopping and measuring for you! Ingredients kits will include pre-measured ingredients, recipes for the class, and an equipment/utensil list!
The ingredients kit for this class will ONLY be available for pick-up in The Cooking School, at Jungle Jim's Fairfield, on Wednesday, March 10, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. (If you are unavailable during these hours, we suggest purchasing the Demonstration class instead.)

- Medium saucepan for potatoes
- Potato masher
- Vegetable peeler
- Chef’s knife
- Cutting board
- Nonstick spray
- 9-inch round cake pan
- Parchment paper – included in ingredients kit
- Small saucepan
- Wooden spoon or spatula
- Medium bowl
- Whisk
- Cooling rack
- Medium skillet
- Small saucepan
- Paper towels
- Small skillet (8-inch) cast-iron or non-stick
- Aluminum foil
- Olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
How to attend:
- After purchasing your class, you will receive an email one day before your class, containing a link and access code to your Virtual Classroom. The link leads to a program that is essential for viewing our course. Our Virtual Classes utilize Zoom Video Conferencing. No additional purchase necessary.
- When you receive your email, download the installer package and continue through the installation dialogue.
- Once installed, a window will automatically appear, asking you to either login or join a meeting. Click "Join a Meeting." (Creating an account is optional, but not required.)
- The next few windows that appear will ask for the Meeting ID, and the Meeting Password, provided in the email. Please type the Meeting ID and Password as it appears in the email.
- Already downloaded Zoom? No problem! Input the Meeting ID and Password, and you're ready!
- Congratulations! You can now watch our Virtual Class brought to you by The Cooking School in Jungle Jim's Fairfield!
How to get my Ingredients Kit:
- After purchasing the Hands-on with Ingredients Kit option, you will receive an email containing a reminder for the pick-up date and time of your pre-portioned ingredients kit.
Ingredients kits for this class will ONLY be available for pick-up in The Cooking School at Jungle Jim's Fairfield on Wednesday, March 10, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. (If you are unavailable during these hours, we suggest purchasing the Demonstration class instead.)
Due to our Virtual Classes' nature, we will not be able to issue refunds or credits to students who cancel their registration. The Cooking School reserves the right to cancel a class should it be necessary due to weather, other emergencies, or insufficient enrollment; students will then receive refunds.
Your confirmation email is your registration for the class. No ticket is required.
