Chef Mike returns from Wüsthof Trident of America for a “Knife
Skills 101” class. This is a “roll up your sleeves and chop until
you drop” class! He will cover how to choose the proper knife, how
knives are made, knife safety, cutting surfaces, care and use and,
of course, proper cutting techniques. Using the pinch grip method,
you will learn to confidently use kitchen knives. If you are a
beginner or an experienced cook who would like to learn proper
technique, join Chef Mike in the Cooking School. Note: A light
snack will be provided
Your confirmation email is your registration for
class. No ticket is required.
Students may cancel registrations up to 7 days prior to the day of
class. After that deadline, no refunds or credit will be issued.
You may send a substitute. For registering three or more people for
a class, a 14 day notice is required for canceling out of a class.
This is the amount of time needed to find replacements for the
class. When a refund is issued, students who pay in cash or check
will receive a refund check. Those paying by credit card will be
issued a credit towards their account. The Cooking School reserves
the right to cancel a class should it be necessary due to weather,
other emergencies or insufficient enrollment; and to substitute
teachers and food items as required.
Due to class format and size, only paid participants may attend
class. Infants and children may not accompany adults to class.
